Singing, Dancing or Acting?... Artiste!

Me at 7yo at Vaison La Romaine Amphitheatre, France, duting "Cinderella"'s rehearsals

I've never been able to chose between singing, dancing or acting. To me it's all part of the same process, express emotions, express life. The body expresses when the voice is not enough, the voice expresses when the body is not enough, (though the voice acts through the body).. Acting allows to delve into characters and explore oneself through it. As Meryl Streep says "Acting is not about being someone different. It's finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there".

Music is what makes me move though, to me it all starts with music or sound. Even acting. To find the rhythm of a scene, or the emotion, it is quite helpful to think of a specific music. It helps to focus as well and be in that "in the moment" state so hard to find sometimes. Music also gives the frequency of your day, the feeling, mood you want to be into.

I also love to write, tell stories, write songs, create choreography... Everything that could help people live and make them dream, entertain them and make them escape from reality, when I myself escape my own reality at the same time. Because I've never been able to chose, I define myself as an "Artiste". I wish I could be a mixture of Fred Astaire, Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe haha
